[Current Music |let's stick together]

Finally, after sitting on my bookshelves for literally one year (only a baby elephant takes longer to pop. Or Kevin Shields' new album), here's the belated and highly coveted [info]stanleylieber remix album.

cover by [info]silenceinspades

1: Not Really A Remix - by [info]cap_scaleman

2: Nostalgia for Mud Part I - by Egobone/[info]kaipfeiffer

3: Potter in Amsterdam - by [info]bikerbar

4: Fly in the Popper Sauce - by [info]bikerbar

5: Nostalgia for Mud Part II - by Egobone/[info]kaipfeiffer

6: Slow - Nasheed Remix - by [info]dzima

I know we were meant to release this album to celebrate your birthday last year but here it is, better late than never. Happy birthday Stan.

And best wishes to [info]bluecalico too!

Just as evidence that [info]stanleylieber's fame is universal, here are some pictures of the street where I live in, on the other side of the globe to him:

By the way, about our belated remix compilation of his music, there are 4 tracks finished so far (2 from [info]kaipfeiffer, one from [info]bikerbar, one from myself). We're still waiting for a few more contributions then we're all set ([info]silenceinspades, [info]cap_scaleman, [info]bluecalico, what happened to youse?)

PS: [info]nicepimmelkarl and [info]anglerfish96 are always invited to join the party.
PPS: didn't [info]sparkligbeatnic once remixed a track of Stanley's?

[info]silenceinspades and I came up with an idea of putting out together a [info]stanleylieber remix compilation so is there anyone out there interested in contributing to that?

His back catalogue is huge so there's plenty to choose from. If you don't know what his music sounds like, here's a starting point: http://stanleylieber.livejournal.com/tag/mp3
